Dear Mr. DeYoung:

In Re:

Florida Power Corporation Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant Docket No. 50-302 This letter is preliminary response to your letter of March 24, 1972 requesting basic data for source term calculation for a gaseous and liquid effluent analysis that specifically relates to Crystal River.

The information will be mailed to your office on or before April 8 and simultaneously to Mr. Tom Row of ORNL, based on his request by telephone.

Florida Power Corporation will send two representatives to the ORNL meeting April 13-14.

The names of these two representa-I tives are tentatively Mr. O B. DuBois, Supervisor-Nuclear Affairs, and Mr. Mike Cambria, Nucir e Engineer.

The requested infonnation should be in your office no later than April 11, and we are regretful for not being able to meet the April 7 deadline.

The principal reason for this delay is that your letter was incorrectly addressed and not sent directly to me for immediate attention.

Instead, having this information move unnecessarily through our Company caused several days of schedule to be lost.

9 Very truly yours, o
