At apprcri=ately 1:00 a.m. on. November 17, 1979, a Daniel International QC lab techn4r4an was accidently hit by a concrete truck.

The site was in the process of conducting a large (2300 cubic yards) concrete placement. The injured man vas taken to Eurlington County Bospital and was returned to work af ter being eva-4nad.

Shortly af ter his return to the site, internal bleeding was noted.

He was then tmM back to the hospital and subsequently transferred to the intensive care unit at an Emporia, Ynnnas, Bospital. Prognosis is reported as good.
