Dear Mr. Keppler:
This letter and its attachments are in response to the above referenced I.E. Bulletins as they apply to Unit No. 2 of the D.C.
Cock Nuclear Plant.
Chicago Bridge & Iron (C3&I), manufacturer of the reactor vessel for Unit 2, has submitted to the NRC, on April 24, 1979, a generic report (reference 2) providing the required weld material information on all reactor vessels fabricated by CB&I. Westinghouse and American Electric Power have reviewed the above referenced report and concluded that it represents adequately the data for the welcment material used in the reactor vessel of Unit No. 2 of the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant. Weld-ment material that might be used for verification purposes, is available in the archives of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
