APPROVAL OF CHANGE TO SAFEGUARDS CONDITION-1.1 - COST ACTIVITY CODE/ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFIER 000225/07000754/L-2019-SPR-0003
Dear Mr. Feyrer:
This is in response to your letter dated March 20, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession Number ML19079A195), in which you requested the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to amend special nuclear materials license SNM-960. In your letter you requested that the NRC amend Safeguards Condition 1.1 (SG 1.1) of SNM-960 to add the following statement: and as it may be further revised in accordance with the provisions of 70.32(e)."
The NRC staff has completed its review of your request and determined that it is acceptable. Therefore, SG-1.1 of SNM-960 has been amended. All other conditions of SNM-960 will remain the same. Please note that, for consistency and clarity of the information within, the NRC staff also made other administrative changes and corrections throughout the public and non-public versions of SNM-960 which were previously provided to you via electronic communication dated May 8, 2019, for your review and comments. On May 16, 2019, you provided your concurrence with the NRC staffs additional changes (ADAMS Accession Number ML19136A339). Enclosed please find the public and non-public versions of Amendment 1 of SNM-960, and the Safety Evaluation Report documenting the NRC staff review of your request.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRCs Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room). Non-public documents will be withheld from the public.
Documents transmitted herein contain Security - Related Information. When separated from Enclosure 4, this letter and Enclosures 1, 2, and 3 are decontrolled.
