Isakson (ISP), Interim Storage Partners' License Application to Construct and Operate the Waste Control Specialists Consolidated Interim Storage Facility, Andrews County, Texas, Docket No.7201959-First Request for Additional Information, Part 1, dated November 16, 2018 Pursuant to Reference 2, Interim Storage Partners (ISP) hereby responds to the Request for Additional Information (RAI) regarding our license application to construct and operate a Consolidated Interim Storage Facility (CISF) for Spent Nuclear Fuel and GTCC Waste in Andrews County, Texas. The NRG requested that ISP notify the NRG within two weeks of receipt (received November 26, 2018) of Reference 2 of whether it could fully respond to the RSAs by January 15, 2019.
ISP is providing notification that we can respond to the RAls by the end of February 2019. As you know, with the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Holidays the actual number of working days between receipt of the RAls and January 15 is 25 days.
In order to provide high quality responses to the RAls during this holiday season additional time is necessary to complete the responses.
