Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-272/87-04; 50-311/87-10
A routine safety inspection was conducted by Mr. B. Davidson of this office on
March 16-20, 1987, of the radioactive effluents program at the Salem Nuclear
Generating Station, Hancock Bridge, New Jersey of activities authorized by NRC
License Nos. DPR-70 and DPR-75.
Our findings were discussed with Mr. J. Zupko
and others of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection on March 20, 1987.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
combined Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these
areas, t~e inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel and observations by the
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
