Varga, Chief Operating Reactor Branch 1 Division of Licensing EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND TRAINING FOR STATION BLACKOUT EVENTS UNITS NO. 1 AND 2 SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-272 AND 50-311 Generic Letter 81-04 required us to furnish an assessment of our existing or planned facility procedures and training program with respect to blackout events.

Due to the allocation of resources to resolve the items identified in the recent Emergency Preparedness Appraisal, Fire Protection SER supplement, and other operating license conditions, we find ourselves unable to provide this information in the time frame requested.
