Haskell Director, Licensing DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT 1998 STEAM GENERATOR TUBE SURVEILLANCE REPORT-TUBES PLUGGED Palisades Technical Specification 6.6.9a requires that the number of tubes plugged in each steam generator shall be reported to the NRC within fifteen days following the completion of an inservice inspection of steam generator tubes. On May 14, 1998, an inservice inspection of the Palisades steam generator tubes was completed.
A total of eight tubes were plugged in Steam Generator E-50A. A total of three tubes were plugged in Steam Generator E-50B. The total number of tubes plugged in Steam Generator E-50A is 321. The total number of tubes plugged in Steam Generator E-50B is 312.
In accordance with Palisades Technical Specification 6.6.9b, a complete steam generator inservice inspection report will be submitted within 12 months.
