Procedures and Planned Testin of Alternate Miniflow S stem
- 1) MST-I-0080 MST-I-0081 MST-I-0080 and 81 are the maintenance surveillance tests that perform the loop calibration and functional checkout of the RCS Wide Range Pressure Channels P-402 and P-403.
The approved version and the review copy of MST-I-0080 is supplied.
MST-I-0081 is the same as MST-I-0080, but for the B Train.
- 2) OST-1083 OST-1084 OST-1083 and 1084 are the Operations Surveillance Tests that tests the slave relays in the ESFAS System.
These tests willbe revised to test the new relay configuration.
- 3) OST-1825 OST-1826 OST-1825 and 1826 are the Operations Surveillance Tests that test the responses of components that receive a safety injection signal.
This test will be modified to test the Alternate MiniflowMOV's in their new logic arrangement.
We are reviewing this procedure to see ifrecording the flow rate through the strainer and alternate miniflow orifice can be added to this procedure.
Due to the fact that this procedure is so complex we may incorporate this testing into another OST that can accommodate this testing without greatly changing the scope of the procedure.
If this cannot be done, then a separate OST will be written to test the flow of the Alternate Miniflow System.
This flow will be trended and strainer inspections done as needed.
- Also, a set inspection frequency will be developed and subsequently ad)usted as indicated by trending and inspections.
- 4) Post Modification Testin Post Modification Tests will be written to demonstrate that the logic changes will control the MOV's as the modification intends and that the MOV's will operate in both the open and the shut direction against flow pump differential pressure.
Also flow through the alternate miniflow orifice will be documented.
This procedure will have a section for documenting any abnormal piping movement as witnessed by an engineer from the Harris Nuclear Engineering Department.
