E. A. Licitra, Project Hanager, Licensing Branch No. 3, DL CANCELLATION OF COHHISSIONER GILINSKY'S PENDING VISIT TO PALO VERDE IN FEBRUARY 1983 Commissioner Gilinsky's February visit to Palo Verde has been cancelled as a result of the following events.
APS (Terry Juan) called me on January 7, 1983 to ask that a formal written request be made by the Commissioner's office if he wanted APS to make a
presentation on the PORV issue.
APS stated that the story it would present to Commissioner Gilinsky at such a meeting would be the same as that presented by APS in its letter of November 3, 1982 (oopy attached).
On January 10, 1983, I called Commissioner Gilinsky's office and gave the above message to Sandy Showman, his administrative assistant.
I also send her a copy of the November 3, 1982 letter.
On January 12, 1983, brandy called me back to say that Commissioner Gilinsky would not pursue the matter further but thought that it was APS who initially suggested the visit.
