St. Lucie Unit 2 Docket No. 50-389 The purpose of this letter is to notify the NRC that Florida Power
& Light Company (FPL) has completed the design bases verification of safety-related motor operated valves (MOVs) for St. Lucie Unit 2 during the Fall 1995 refueling outage (SL2-9). This verification includes the committed design and test activities to establish assurance of the existing capability of MOVs to perform their safety-related functions under design basis conditions.
FPL is available to meet with the NRC closing the NRC GL 89-10 program.

By FPL letter L-95-37 dated February 2,
- 1995, FPL notified the NRC that the NRC GL 89-10 program for St. Lucie Unit 1 was completed during the Fall 1994 refueling outage (SL1-13).
