Dear Hr. Goldberg:

By letter dated August ll, 1995, Florida Power 5 Light Company requested relief related to the second ten-year, interval inservice inspection program plan regarding the implementation of Code Case N-532 for the St.

Lucie Plant, Units 1 and 2.

The staff, with technical assistance from its contractor, the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL), has reviewed and evaluated the request and has granted the requested relief pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55a(a)(3)(i).

Enclosure 1 contains staff's Safety Evaluation and Enclosure 2 contains INEL's Technical Letter Report.

This completes our review of this request and we are closing TAC Nos.
