This refers to the routine safety inspection .conducted by D. E. Hills,
M. S. Peck and J. D. Monninger of this office on December 30, 1990 through
February 15, 1991, of activities at Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Units 2
and 3 authorized by Operating Licenses No.
DPR~19 and No. DPR-25, and to the
discussion of our findings wilh Mr. E.
Eenig~nburg and others at the
conclusion of the inspection.

The enclosed copy of our in"spection report identifies areas examined during
the jnspection.
~ithin these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
During this ins~ection, certain of your _activities ~ppeated to be in violation
of NRC requirements, as described in the' en.closed Notice.
The inspection
showed that actions had been taken to correct the identified violation and to
pre~ent recurrence.
Co~sequently, no reply i~ required and we have no further
guestions regarding this item at this time.
