Dairyland Power Cooperative La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR)
Possession-Only License DPR-45 Changes to LACBWR Physical Security Plan
REFERENCE:
- 1) NRC Security Inspection Report Nos. 05000409/2012007 (DNMS), and 07200046/2011401 (DNMS), "La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (Permanently Shut Down) and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation."
Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC) is hereby submitting recent changes to the LACBWR Physical Security Plan performed in accordance with 10 CFR 50.5 4 (p). Following request for rescission of NRC orders EA-02-077 and EA-03-099, the NRC terminated these orders in November 2012. Termination of these orders permitted a reduction in security requirements for the LACBWR plant. The ISFSI Physical Security Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan, and Security Force Training and Qualification Plan have been reviewed, inspected, and found acceptable for ISFSI operations by the NRC (Reference 1). The attached changes remove security plan material related to the LACBWR plant.
To ensure consistency, the ISFSI Physical Security Plan, ISFSI Safeguards Contingency Plan, and ISFSI Security Force Training and Qualification Plan are being submitted in their entirety. Please replace all material with that which is attached and acknowledge the action by signing and returning the enclosed receipt.
