SUMMARY
On May 25, 2010, at 6:00 p.m., the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff met with interested members of the public and Exelon at the Holiday Inn, Toms River, NJ to review and discuss the NRCs Annual Assessment of the performance of the Oyster Creek generating station. The NRC assessment of the safety performance at Oyster Creek was for the period from January 1 through December 31, 2009. The staff used posters, handouts, and an electronic slide show to discuss performance and respond to questions. In addition to NRC staff, several licensee staff members, reporters, and state and local officials attended the meeting.
The NRC's assessment letter can be found in ADAMS with Accession Number ML100621256. The annual assessment meeting notice, with the attached meeting agenda, can be found in ADAMS with Accession Numbers ML101230079.
