RE: Tmi support I tried to reach Beth on her cell phone earlier - about 11: 15 and got her voicemail. Here's what I sent her. I have done interviews with ABC news, ABC radio and WGAL-TV. The TMI folks have also talked to other TV stations and put out a press release.

Tmi TMI is putting out a press release tonight about contaminated workers in containment during maintenance work. They were doing various activities in containment when the airborne monitors alarmed at about 4 p.m.

They asked workers to leave the containment.

The containment is open and not under negative pressure. There is a plastic drop down covering the hole.

Exelon conducted surveys outside. There has been no knowryrirelease to the public above regulatory limits.

They're still working inside to figure out what happened.

125 workers were asked to leave containment. They went thru the portal monitors.., then whole body counters if potal monitors alarmed, 10 have 10mR, 1 had 16 mR. Lots had none. None is a significant contamination.

People are still being evaluated at 10:50 p.m.

Exelon called stakeholders, including media. At least one TV station has gone to the site. Ralph is doing the interview.

We can say: we're aware; we're following up on it - we're still gathering more information; based on the low level of contamination it's not an occupational threat, nor a threat to public health and safety. A specialist will be on site tomorrow.

RE: Tmi Update:

We're not certain about the drop down covering the containment opening. Also, nearly 150 were asked to leave containment. None of the contaminations was significant.

We're going to do the briefing at 2.
