NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTY RECAPTURE POWER UPRATE PROPRIETARY SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS SUBMITTAL DATE CORRECTION LETTER In a letter dated March 26, 2009 (Serial No.09-033) Dominion requested amendments to Operating Licenses NPF-4 and NPF-7 for North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2, respectively.
This measurement uncertainty recapture (MUR) power uprate License Amendment Request (LAR) would increase each unit's authorized core power level from 2893 megawatts thermal (MWt) to 2940 MWt, and make changes to Technical Specifications as necessary to support operation at the uprated power level.
To support these amendments, Dominion provided the proprietary materials in a separate letter (Serial No. 09-033A) also dated March 26, 2009. However, in that letter Dominion incorrectly identified the date of the amendment requests as March 27, 2009, whereas the correct date of the amendment requests is March 26, 2009.
Therefore, please use the information provided in our letter dated March 26, 2009 (Serial No.09-33A) to support Dominion's MUR license amendment requests submitted on March 26, 2009 (Serial No.09-033).
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Mr. Thomas Shaub at (804) 273-2763.
Sincerely,
~
