OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION - CORRECTION LETTER RE: LICENSE AMENDMENT TO DELETE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION SECTION 6.5, "REVIEW AND AUDIT" (TAC NO. MD7319)
Dear Mr. Pardee:
On February 24, 2009, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 273 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-16 for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (Oyster Creek). This document is available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) under Accession No. ML082890878. Enclosed in Amendment No. 273, were revised pages for incorporation into the Oyster Creek Technical Specifications.
The NRC staff has identified that, in error, page 3 of the license identified AmerGen as the licensee. The page should have identified Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon) as the licensee consistent with the recent license transfer. Amendment No. 274 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-16 which was issued on March 23, 2009 (ADAMS Accession No. ML083500217) subsequently corrected this error because it affected the same page and correctly referenced Exelon as the licensee (thereby removing reference to AmerGen).
Therefore, no additional action is necessary.
