SUMMARY

OF TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL HELD ON JANUARY 22, 2008, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC., PERTAINING TO THE INDIAN POINT NUCLEAR GENERATING UNIT NOS. 2 AND 3, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION - METAL FATIGUE The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., (Entergy) held a telephone conference call on January 22, 2008, concerning the Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 2 and 3, license renewal application (LRA). Entergy requested the telephone conference to apprise the staff of its intention to send a letter that will amend the LRA regarding metal fatigue. Entergy indicated that it plans to take the same approach as it did for the Pilgrim and FitzPatrick LRAs. Entergy stated that it plans to sign and issue the letter soon.

The Enclosure provides a listing of the participants.
