SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3 - NRC INITIAL OPERATOR LICENSING EXAMINATION APPROVAL 05000361/2007301; 05000362/2007301
Dear Mr. Rosenblum:
The purpose of this letter is to confirm the final arrangements for the upcoming operator licensing examinations at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station.
The NRC has completed its review of the operator license applications submitted in connection with this examination and separately provided a list of approved applicants to Bill Arbour, Operations Training Supervisor. Note that any examination waivers and applications denials have been addressed in separate correspondence.
The NRC has approved the operating test portion of the examination. The NRC staff will administer the operating tests during the week of June 4, 2007. As of the date of this letter, we have not authorized the written examination. The written examination will be approved when: 1) the examination review is completed, and 2) the potential examination integrity issues are resolved.
Please contact me or your Chief Examiner, Kelly Clayton at (817) 860-8216, if you have any questions or identify any errors or changes in the license level (RO/SRO) or type of examination (partial or complete written examination and/or operating test) specified for each applicant.
