FYI: New DPO on Use of Leak Before Break in ECCS In accordance with section (D)(3)(c) of the MD 10.159 Handbook, I am notifying you that I have received, screened, and accepted a new DPO.
The DPO (DPO-2006-003) raises concerns about the installation of an ECCS LPI cross tie header at the Oconee facility. The submitter contends that the licensee should not have been allowed to use Leak Before Break technology for ECCS.
I will soon be sending this DPO to Jim Dwyer for appropriate dispositioning.
