SUBJECT:
MILLSTONE POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 3 ERRATA FOR AMENDMENT NO. 237, DELETING REDUNDANT SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS PERTAINING TO POST MAINTENANCE/POST MODIFICATION TESTING (TAC NO. MD0693)
Dear Mr. Christian:
On March 29, 2007, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 237 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-49. Subsequent to issuance of this amendment it has come to the NRC staffs attention that Technical Specification (TS) page 3/4 1-25, issued with Amendment No. 237, did not contain other changes previously approved under Amendment No. 231. Specifically, section 3.1.3.4.a listed a value of Tavg [average temperature] greater than or equal to 551oF [degrees Fahrenheit]. However, this value was revised to 500oF under Amendment No. 231, which was issued on August 15, 2006. In addition, a revision bar was omitted on TS page 3/4 7-20. The correct TS pages 3/4 1-25 and 3/4 7-20 for Amendment No. 237 are enclosed.
Please contact John Hughey at 301-415-3204 should you have any questions.
Sincerely,
/ra/
