Dear Sirs:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is about to take action on the "Fatigue Rule",
10 CFR Part 26. Since 1999 the NRC has gone through an exhaustive process of hearings that included all stakeholders and that resulted in many rule modifications to satisfy both plant managements' and other stakeholders' requests. The final rule is now at the Commission for approval. This rule will reduce the impact of fatigue on people we all count on to be at their best when they work at our nuclear plants protecting the health and safety of the general public.
Speaking as a working NRC Licensed Reactor Operator with 19 years of nuclear power experience, I feel that it is vital that this rule be approved. I respectfully request that the Commission approve the Fatigue Rule as written.
