REQUEST FOR EXTENSION TO REPLY TO A NOTICE OF VIOLATION
Dear Dr. Burchill:
In a letter dated July 28, 2006, you requested additional time to reply to a Notice of Violation issued by the NRC on June 29, 2006. The letter requested a two week extension beyond the date that the original Notice designated. Due to the delay of delivery of the Notice, the NRC will grant your request. Please submit your reply to the Notice of Violation by August 11, 2006.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and your response, if you decide to provide one, will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publically Available Records (PARS) component of the NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/NRC/ADAMS/index.html (the Public Reading Room). To the extent possible, your response should not include any personal privacy, proprietary, or safeguards information so that it can be placed in the Public Document Room without redaction.
