SPLIT SAMPLE FOR STATE OF NEW YORK Greg:
Today (Friday March 10) we are going to try to get samples from MW-37 (west side of Unit 2 Turbine Building) for the State of New York. My understanding is you are going to be the State of New York split sample representative for this evolution.
I don't know our exact start time on this, but as you know this evolution takes several hours as it is a 4 stage (multi-level) well and has small pipe diameters which makes the purge and sample gathering times long. In addition the State wants 1 gallon samples at each of the 4 well levels which will further lengthen the survey time. Additionally because the purge times and larger sample volume extractions required by the State of New York cause time additions because of the slow replenishment rates at certain well depths.
I will try to contact you today when we are ready to begin so you can plan your day accordingly.
