VY dryers I spoke with Cliff Anderson about the steam dryer cracking at VY.
Right now, we can say
(.e....
- we understand they've found some cracking.
- we have a specialist on site who was there to review, among other things, VY's inspection of the steam dryers.
- We're still looking at this issue at VY and have come to no conclusions.
-VY was planning modifications to the dryers because of industry experience.
- It should be noted they will NOT restart from this outage at a higher power... the power uprate hasn't been approved.
(As an aside, this system is not safety related.)
