- Larry, Please see attached web link to article in today's Brattleboro Reformer (note, headline is wrong - should say "Public Service Board" not "NRC"). Towards the end of the article there are some statements regarding whether a plant can access decommissioning funds if it did not have the capacity to perform a full core offload. Do you know what the applicable requirements/positions are on on this issue? Note, Vermont Yankee is under a high level of public interest due to a proposed power uprate and other recent issues at the plant so it is likely we may get questions from the media.
