Re: VY EP is West Halifax in the EPZ? Halifax is in the 1 0 mile EPZ, but I am not certain it includes W.Halifax.
However, having said that, there is a wealth of information at this link and the attachment is the latest FEMA exercise evaluation of the VY full participation exercise.
http://www.dps.state.vt.us/vem/request.html if that doesn't work, then have him send an email to Lew Stowell, Istowell dps.state.vt.us. I guess he could call him. The general office number to VT OEM is 802-244-8721 or 1-800-347-0488.
Hope that helps.

I just had a looooooooong conversation with a Mr. John Carollo (Scott, you were so lucky to get his voice mail...). He says he owns a house near Brattleboro VT and is friends with the town clerk of West Halifax, VT, who tells him there is no EP plan in place to notify residents of an emergency at the plant, or evacuate them, and that the clerk has "only a handful" of KI pills in her bottom desk drawer. He also says the state emerg. mgt. agency does not know of any evacuation plans.
I pointed him to the EP page on the Web site and informed him that NRC gave VT about 93000 KI pills two years ago. I also gave him the # of the SLO in Montpelier. But is there any other way to reassure him that there is indeed a plan? I tried to convince him that maybe he's just not asking the right people, but he's convinced that the plant is out of compliance with our EP regs.
Sigh.
