SUMMARY
- St. Lucie Unit 2 was on-line and operating in Mode 1 until December 25, 2004 when the manual reactor trip was performed at 0651 hours0.00753 days <br />0.181 hours <br />0.00108 weeks <br />2.477055e-4 months <br /> following a short downpower in response to a degraded 2B condensate pump motor.
A reactor startup commenced on December 26, 2004 with the unit critical at 1925 hours0.0223 days <br />0.535 hours <br />0.00318 weeks <br />7.324625e-4 months <br /> and Mode 1 entered at 2123 the same day. Unit 2 remained in Mode 1 until December 27, 2004, when a manual reactor trip was performed at 1720 hours0.0199 days <br />0.478 hours <br />0.00284 weeks <br />6.5446e-4 months <br /> due to low 2B steam generator level following a feedwater control system malfunction. The unit remained offline at the end of the reporting period. In accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
