Public input I realize that Farley Nuclear provides a generous tax income to the local communties, and I am by no means a meteorologist, but I have lived in Dothan, Alabama for fifteen years. I have noticed that a curious weather pattern exists here year round. There are extended periods of drought here from Dothan to the Chattahoochee River:

however, the rain seems to begin again once a weather system passes the mentioned area. This pattern seems to have become more intense in recent years. There was significant rainfall here in September, 2004, but was chiefly because of a hurricane. I have no proof that this condition is related to Farley's operation ; it is pure speculation based on my observations over the last 15 years. I thank you for your indulgence. Perhaps, you could furnish me with information that would put this curiosity to rest for me.

Sincerely, Kenneth Chisholm
