FW: Generator MEL WM Chuck and Tony:
Attached is a copy of the work order for the Unit 3 MEL circuit that Chuck requested.
Based on phone call(s) between Chuck and Mark Hypse, Craig Hasson and Arshad Taufiq of our safety analysis group:
We can close out the issue regarding the PLUB circuit.
We can close out the issue regarding why SBCS functioned during the Unit 3 event.
We provided information that our Chapter 15 Safety Analysis for a steam generator tube rupture with a Safety or inadvertent ADV opening bounds a spurious opening of SBCS.
With regards to the effect of 67Hz on Unit 3 equipment:
We plan to close out our findings and include them in our Significant Event Report. To ensure we are responding to your concerns, Tony had mentioned a baseline analysis of 63Hz. We would like to know where the 63Hz is referenced. (This is a back up to our phone call earlier today.)
