The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Order EA-03-086, which required compliance with a revised design basis threat, along with other security related Orders for the Perry Nuclear Power Plant (PNPP). By letter dated April 28, 2004 (PY-CEI/NRR-2797L), the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) provided a supplement to previously submitted responses to Order EA-03-086 for PNPP. That submittal included a proposed revision to the PNPP Physical Security Plan (PSP), as required by the Order.
The review of the draft PNPP PSP by the NRC staff resulted in several Requests for Additional Information (RAIs). The proposed revision to the PNPP Physical Security Plan has been modified to incorporate changes based on the resolution of the RAI issues and is enclosed with this letter.
In accordance with 10 CFR 73.21, the enclosure to this document has been determined to contain Safeguards Information, and is thereby exempt from public disclosure.
