Cable Vault Beth, I'm sorry that I missed you, I didn't get your message till late. I came by your office Thu

,ft oon and it was locked up. I'm on vacation Friday, but If you can't wait till Monday please call my cell phonend I'll come in.

However, here is some" information for you, and I'll call you on Monday.

V yt

1.

The difference in weight between the CV C02 bottles and the Second Shot bottles. The second shot in the Cable Vault is manual, and will be used after the first shot fails, most likely all dampers will be closed, preventing a lot of C02 from escaping. I'll have to check the actual calculations, but the difference weights of the two banks sound minimal (no problems, more info to follow). But again, the second shot is just a feature of the system. There Is no requirement (NFPA) to have a second shot.

2. You can't see some pene seals from the CV ceiling. The pene seals for the Cable Vault ceiling are in the Control Room floor. There are many seals that you can't see until you are in the Control Room.
3. Specific questions on cable runs, I'll have to walk them down to get you an answer.

That's about all I can tell you without walking the room down with you.

If there is an urgent need, please call me on my cell, or my supervisor Dennis Girroir (x3199) may be able to get a hold of me or help you out.
