SUMMARY
On April 18 at 1200, reactor power reduction commenced for a planned plant shutdown for replacement of a leaking main steam relief valve. The main generator was disconnected from the grid at 0149 on April 19. Following completion of maintenance, reactor startup commenced at 0031 on April 22, and the generator was synchronized to the grid at 2335 on April 22. Full rated thermal power was reached at 0339 on April 24. At 0912 on April 26, power reduction was commenced due to oscillations of the A reactor feedwater regulating valve. The A reactor feedwater pump was removed from service, and power reduction was secured at 1442 on April 26 at 45.8% power. After replacement of the A feedwater regulating valve positioner, full power was achieved at 0432 on April 27. The only other power reductions during the month were for load line adjustments on April 24, 25, 27, and 28.
