SUMMARY

LaSalle Unit 2 continued coastdown (decreasing MWe output) throughout January until shutdown for refueling outage L2R09 on January 20, 2003, with the exception of the following:

January 10 (1156) - Manual scram due to low reactor water level caused by loss of 2A and 2C heater drain pumps, 2B condensate/condensate booster pump (CD/CB Pump), and 2A and 2C turbine driven reactor feedwater pumps due to the trip of the 2B CD/CB Pump on instantaneous overcurrent. The unit was returned to service at 0356 hours0.00412 days <br />0.0989 hours <br />5.886243e-4 weeks <br />1.35458e-4 months <br /> on January 14.

The duration of the shutdown was 88 hours0.00102 days <br />0.0244 hours <br />1.455026e-4 weeks <br />3.3484e-5 months <br />.

"* January 21 (0001) - Shutdown for scheduled refueling outage. Unit is expected to be returned to full power on February 16, 2003. The duration of the scheduled shutdown for the January reporting period was 264 hours0.00306 days <br />0.0733 hours <br />4.365079e-4 weeks <br />1.00452e-4 months <br />.
