SUMMARY
LaSalle Unit 2 continued coastdown (decreasing MWe output) throughout January until shutdown for refueling outage L2R09 on January 20, 2003, with the exception of the following:
January 10 (1156) - Manual scram due to low reactor water level caused by loss of 2A and 2C heater drain pumps, 2B condensate/condensate booster pump (CD/CB Pump), and 2A and 2C turbine driven reactor feedwater pumps due to the trip of the 2B CD/CB Pump on instantaneous overcurrent. The unit was returned to service at 0356 hours0.00412 days <br />0.0989 hours <br />5.886243e-4 weeks <br />1.35458e-4 months <br /> on January 14.
The duration of the shutdown was 88 hours0.00102 days <br />0.0244 hours <br />1.455026e-4 weeks <br />3.3484e-5 months <br />.
"* January 21 (0001) - Shutdown for scheduled refueling outage. Unit is expected to be returned to full power on February 16, 2003.
