SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE Nine Mile Point Unit Two operated with a capacity factor (MDC) of 101.57% and an availability factor of 100% for the month of September 2002.
On September 22, 2002, at 0800 hours0.00926 days <br />0.222 hours <br />0.00132 weeks <br />3.044e-4 months <br />, a planned power reduction was initiated to approximately 70% power for a control rod sequence exchange. Following satisfactory completion of this sequence exchange, full power operation was resumed on September 22, 2002 at 1926 hours0.0223 days <br />0.535 hours <br />0.00318 weeks <br />7.32843e-4 months <br />.
There were no challenges to the safety relief valves during this reporting period.
