Re: Fwd: Regarding TLAA 4.2.3 on P-T limits Rani and Jim, 60 year P-T curves have not been requested for either McGuire or Catawba.
The next set of P-T curves we plan to submit for each station will be for 34 EFPY which should cover us through the initial 40 year term. Duke would then need to submit proposed curves to cover beyond 40 years prior to the 34 EFPY curves becoming invalid (Before the period of extended operation begins).

Fwd: Regarding TLAA 4.2.3 on P-T limits Hi Bob, There is something I need your help with. Please see the attached note.
If the PT limits have already been submitted, he can indicate that in the SER. I just need the date. Otherwise, he plans to state that they will be provided to the staff before the extended period of operation begins.
If you happen to know the answer and have a cover letter date, I can look it up in ADAMS.
Thanks Rani

RanFranovch' Re: Fwd: Regarding TLAA 4..3o PTirit ag Please ask Bob Gil whether the end of extended term P-T limits have already been submitted for review or whether they will submit them in the future (such as a half a year before the reach the end of current life) - his answer will form the basis for my editing of Mano's TLAA writeup. The TLAA writeup does not discuss or address whether the 60 year PT limits have been submitted or will be submitted in the future. Not a big deal, but his response to you over the phone will determine how the section gets written up. Proposed revision to P-T limits only have to be approved at a time before the expiration of the current P-T limits, therefore I don't think there is a requirement to have the 60 year P-T limit curves submitted and approved way ahead of time as part of the LRA review.
Jim
