Hope Creek Generating Station Docket No. 50-354 Amendment to Facility Operating License License Change Request H02-04 The subject request was submitted to the NRC by PSE&G letter dated March 29, 2002. The request proposes to modify the committed requirements of previously approved License Amendment 131. The utility requests Pressure Vessel Pressure-vs-Temperature calculations approved for use through the 11t" Refueling Cycle, be extended for use for an additional Refueling Cycle. The revised calculations and associated charts will be completed at the end of Refueling Cycle 12.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering has reviewed the request in accordance with the requirements of 1 OCFR50.91 (b). The State of New Jersey has no comment on the proposed postponement of the NDT calculations at this time.
However, the State realizes that this issue may have significant future impact, and will revisit this issue when the new Pressure vs Temperature curves are submitted in accordance with Regulatory Guide 1.190.
