STAFF SUPPORT FOR NRC RECRUITING EFFORTS
Dear Mr. Kingsley:
I would like to thank you and your staff at the Production Training Facility for providing a demonstration on your Braidwood simulator and a short presentation in your maintenance training classroom on November 19, 2001, to prospective NRC employees. The NRC is dedicated to attracting highly motivated individuals for our entry level positions. In the past, these potential hires would participate in a plant tour and discussion time with the Senior Resident Inspector. Because of the current National security environment, we did not want to bring these individuals to the site as visitors. As a result, your Braidwood staff provided a simulator demonstration and a short presentation. Your staff provided an excellent introduction to the nuclear industry and their effort was greatly appreciated.
