Subject:

Guarantees of Payment of Deferred Premiums Pursuant to 10 CFR 140.21, Licensee guarantees of payment of deferred premiums, PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG), as the licensed operator for Salem Generating Station, Units 1 and 2 (Salem) and Hope Creek Generating Station (Hope Creek) submits the following information to satisfy the annual requirements for guarantees of payment of deferred premiums.

PSEG maintains nuclear liability endorsements through Marsh USA Inc. (Marsh) for Salem and Hope Creek under the American Nuclear Insurers (ANI) Master Policy - Nuclear Energy Liability Insurance (Secondary Financial Protection). This coverage includes a Bond for Payment of Retrospective Premiums for each reactor. As stated in Federal Register notice - Withdrawal of Regulatory Guide 9.4, dated October 22, 2007 (72 FR 59574), this insurance bonding meets the requirements of 10 CFR 140.21(a). In accordance with 10 CFR 140.15, evidence of financial protection for Salem and Hope Creek is documented in the attached ANI Evidence of Financial Protection which was enclosed in the letter submitted to the NRC from K. Fowler, Marsh, 2025 Nuclear Liability Certificates of Insurance, dated January 21, 2025.
