2807 West County Road 75 Monticello, MN 55362 L-MT-24-020 NUREG 1021 July 29, 2024 Regional Administrator, Region III U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission 2443 Warrenville Road, Suite 210 Lisle, IL 60532-4352 Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant Docket No. 50-263 Renewed Facility Operating License DPR-22 Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant (MNGP) Initial Operator Licensing Examination Outlines Reference 1: Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) letter to Mr. Shawn Hafen, Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant - Confirmation of Initial License Examination, dated March 22, 2024, Accession Number ML24082A245 In response to Reference 1, Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota Corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter NSPM), submits the written examinations, operating tests, and supporting reference materials for the initial operator licensing examinations to be administered at MNGP the weeks of October 14 and 21, 2024. This information is being submitted to the NRC via Box to maintain exam security requirements.
The Box submittal includes all appropriate examination standard forms and outlines in accordance with guideline ES-2.1 of NUREG-1021, Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors, Revision 12.
In accordance with NUREG-1021, NSPM requests that the enclosed examination materials shall be withheld from public disclosure until after the examination is complete.
