- 1) Letter from Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC) to NRC Document Control Desk, Monticello Monthly Operating Report, dated February 6, 2004 In accordance with Technical Specification 6.7.A.3, attached is the Monthly Operating Report for February 2004 for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant. In addition, NMC determined that an error was present in the Monthly Operating Report for January 2004 (Reference 1). Therefore, Enclosure 2 contains the corrected page for the January 2004 Monthly Operating Report.
NMC has not made new or revised commitments in this letter or the enclosures.

SUMMARY
- The plant operated at essentially 100% power for the month of February except for 2 planned thermal power reductions. The first was a power reduction for about 5 hours5.787037e-5 days <br />0.00139 hours <br />8.267196e-6 weeks <br />1.9025e-6 months <br /> on February 7/8th for MSIV & Turbine testing, control rod timing tests and a control rod pattern adjustment. The minimum power reached was ~74% thermal power. The second was a slight power reduction for about 1.5 hours5.787037e-5 days <br />0.00139 hours <br />8.267196e-6 weeks <br />1.9025e-6 months <br /> on February 16th for single control rod scramtime testing.
