Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 Docket Number 50-346, License Number NPF-3 10 CFR 55 Submittal of Post Examination Materials in Support of Recently Completed Initial License Operator Examinations Enclosed are the post examination materials for the initial licensed operator examinations that were administered during the weeks of February 7 and 14, 2022.
The enclosed items are being submitted to the NRC for review and approval in accordance with 10 CFR 55.40, "Written Examinations and Operating Tests-Implementation" and NU REG 1021, Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors (Revision 11).
After the Written Examination was completed, the Applicants participated in a review session to determine if enhancements to the questions were necessary. Results of this review indicate no enhancements are required prior to reuse.
Post-exam analysis indicates potential generic training program weaknesses (Questions missed by 50 percent or more of the Applicants; Questions 59 and 62). Investigations of these potential generic weaknesses are being tracked by the Corrective Action Program (CR-2022-01344).
