In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54, "Conditions of licenses," paragraph (w)(3),
FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) hereby confirms that a primary and blanket nuclear property insurance policy are provided by Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited for the amounts listed below.

The $2,750,000,000 coverage includes a $1,250,000,000 blanket policy shared by the three active FENOC sites.
By letter dated July 21, 1999, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved an exemption from the amount of insurance coverage stated in 10 CFR 50.54(w).
