The Nuclear Regulatory C o m m i s s i o n',- (NRC) issued a single radioactiv e material license of broad' hcope to the USAF Ra.dio-

isotope Committee ~on 26 June 1985, which effectively transfers authority and responsibility for the' con trol ^ of all radioactive caterial in the Air Force to the Commit t ee. ~Ef f e c ti v e,26 ' June.
1985, all NRC L i c e. n s e s i= sued to_ Air Force organizations are terminated and replaced with USAF Radioactive Material Permits.
