COMANCHE PEAK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT DOCKET NOS. 50-445, 50-446 and 72-74 TRANSMITTAL OF REVISED EMERGENCY PLAN
Dear Sir or Madam:
Pursuant to 10CFR50.54{q), Vistra Operations Company LLC {Vistra OpCo) hereby submits a report of changes made in Revision 42 of the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP) Emergency Plan, effective August 2, 2018.
A summary of each 10CFR50.54{q) based change analysis is included in the attached report.
Vistra OpCo has evaluated the Emergency Plan revision and determined the changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the existing Emergency Plan, and the Plan continues to comply with the standards set forth in 10CFR50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to 10CFR50; therefore, the revision was made effective without prior NRC approval.
The latest revision of the CPNPP Emergency Plan is enclosed.
This communication contains no new licensing basis commitments regarding Comanche Peak Units 1 and 2 or the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation.
