In accordan~.with 19 CFR 72.44( dX3), Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VY) hereby :
submits the Independent Spent Fuel Storag~ Installation (ISFSI) annual effluent report.for the previous calendar_ year.
- By design, the seal. welded-storage canist"ars of the Hoitec HI-STORM 100 Cask System used at VY do not create any radioactive materials or *have any radioactive material effluents. The seal welded storage system design provides assurance that there are no radioactive effluent release pathways from the storage casks.
This letter documents that there were no radioactive effluer:tts discharged ~r released from the VY ISFSI and th~refore no ISFSl-specific data to report for calendar year 2020.
This letter cor:,tains no new regulatory commltm~nts.
