This submittal provides the Carolina Power & Light Company, now doing business as Progress Energy Carolinas, Inc. (PEC) response to NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2004-10, "Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations" for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2. The enclosed NRC Form 536, "Operator Licensing Examination Data," provides a proposed operator licensing examination schedule, the estimated number of applicants to be tested, and a proposed generic fundamentals examination schedule for calendar years 2005 through 2008.
