Spent Fuel Storage Radioactive Effluent Release Report for 2020 Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2 NRC Docket Nos. 50-313, 50-368, and 72-13 Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-51 and NPF-6 In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 72.44(d)(3) and Holtecs HI-STORM 100 Certificate of Compliance Number 1014, Appendix A (Technical Specification), Section 5.4, Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) is submitting the annual radioactive effluent release report for the independent spent fuel storage facility located at Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO), Units 1 and 2. The report is required to specify the quantity of each of the principal radionuclides released to the environment in liquid and gaseous effluents. This report addresses the operation of the independent spent fuel storage facility located at ANO during the 2020 calendar year.
The spent fuel storage cask systems employed at ANO do not create any radioactive material or have any radioactive waste treatment components. There is no liquid or gaseous pathway attributed to the spent fuel stored in the independent storage facility. There is no impact to members of the public from the operation of the ANO independent spent fuel storage facility during the 2020 calendar year.
This fulfills the reporting requirements of 10 CFR 72.44(d)(3) and the HI-STORM 100 Technical Specification 5.4.
