Testing showed that the relay setpoint ~i had drifted and had caused the Rydro Unit to trip upon startup. This consti-tutes operation in a degraded mode per Techical Specification 3.7.2(a) and is thus reportable pursuant to TechIeat Specification. 6.6.2.1.b(2). 'di V APPARENT CAUSE OF OCCURRENCE: The Undervoltage Hatay (74GV-2) setpoint n apparently drifted after being set and tested the previous day. The amount ~4 of setpoint drift was. sufficient to cause Keowee Wit 2 to trip. ~ ~ ANALYSIS OF OCCURRENCEr, During the time Keowee Unit 2 was inoperable to-the-overhead tran-insion path, KiroveeUnit I was connected. to the underground feeder, and emergency shutdown power was available to Oconee Nuclear Station.- Thus, the health and safety of the public were not affected by this incident. 3

CORRECTIVE ACTION
